SAT Review

Still, the biggest problem I faced during SAT is time constraint. In addition, my poor English proficiency and the esoteric vocabs also impede my effort to fathom the passages in SAT Reading. My scores are highly dependent on the passages, whether I understand the meaning behind those pompous and figurative language used in those pasages or not. I also find hard to convey my ideas in my writings as eloquently as I would in Chinese. And there are only a few weeks for me to prepare for the upcoming judgement day. Maybe I should not apply for PPOU afterall.

Regret

To be candid, I do not really enjoy studying physics and calculus. I might be able to cope with the syllabus but I do not have the ardor to know more these subjects. I realized that I have made a wrong decision to apply for engineering in the first place; afterall, my favorite subject is accounts. During my secondary school years, I had always been scoring 95% and above for accounts without putting any effort. Plus, if I had chosen accountancy as my career, I would have avoided to take this Stupid American Test. I would not end up being trapped in Uniten, while my friends are having fun in their colleges. Sigh...... However, there is no use crying over the spilt milk. There is no way I could return to that particular point of life. I have to be responsible of my choice, though writing essays, memorising abstruse vocabs and whispering to the computer via a microphone haver never been my cups of tea.

Section 2

Fion Mah Yu Yong aka Swimming Horse aka Useless aka Flying Fion

Hazwan aka The Plagiarist

Ahmad aka The Maths Nerd

Ikmal aka The Banker aka Mr "Hates Being Asked to Introduce Himself More than 10 Times in A Week"

Syahir aka Mr "Brings Lap Top Every Day"

Ikram aka The "Straight" Guy aka The Road Runner aka Pak Ikram
Well known for his famous adage " what the fish ". Has the peculiar proclivity of being physically friendly towards the guys in our class that is often misunderstood. (no offense, Ikram, we know you are straight) Often runs from amanah to ikal, our class runner absolutely. The picture below is another Version of Ikram The Road Runner, can you spot the similarities and differences between them?
LOL.

Sim Yee aka Miss Always Retain Her Composure
If I had to choose chemical substances to delineate this girl, I would say inert gases, xD, no offense.

Kumaresan Sandran

Kumaresan Chandran aka 2000 aka The Mr Bean aka The Coffee Addict of Section 2 PPOU Engineering,
Judging from his facebook profile picture, he does seem pretty serious and dull right? However, do not judge a book by its cover, especially a person from his facebook profile picture.
"Dei, nononononononononononono.......................... x 999999999" are some of his favourite sayings. Currently rumored to have the same propensity as Ikram's. (do not ask me, ask others).

Nigel Ng

Nigel Ng Jin Yee aka Fashion Guru of Section 2 aka Genius
The founder of Nigelism, for more information about what is Nigelism please surf http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=124222191660. For those who oppose nigelism after reading about it please join ANTI-Nigelism, http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=121404407181. Never fails to give us valuable advices on the latest fashion trends and share with us his "experiences" with girls.

Louis Tan Choon Siong

Louis Tan Choon Siong aka The Loyal Adherent of Nigelism aka Mr Number 3
( if interested to know why he is elected as Mr Number 3 please ask Louis himself)
Widely known for his fashion inclination besides Nigel and believed to be one of the most happening dude in our class. Also known as the most zealous fan of Taylor Swift I ever met.

Joshua Yee

Joshua Yee Vei Ern aka The Inquisitor aka Mr Vice President of PPOU
Likes to complicate things, I would say. Never fails to shower the calculus and physics lecturers with questions. The next Albert Einstein of Malaysia, perhaps the first Malaysian Nobel Prize Winner.

Sanjay Menon aka International Student aka Professor Ir Dato Tan Sri Sanjay Menon
One of the joker in our class. Never fails to entertain us with his practical jokes. Also famous for his awesome critical reading and thinking skills. Have a strong tendency to pee in his trousers even in COE. ( just joking haha)

Cyryl Colins

Cyryl Collins aka President of PPOU Uniten aka Mr Philospher of Section 2
Remember what I have said about Kumar that a person's facebook profile does not necessarily reflect his personality? However, this dude is an exception. His facebook profile picture absolutely matches his serious nature.
Lim Ching Hon

Lim Ching Hon aka Lee Chong Wei
The next Olympic gold medalist of our country, lol.

Na Chin Chon

Nelson Na Chin Chon aka CC not Sissy
Do not be deceived by his quiet veneer, he can really be talkative when teachers are not around.

Ng Yu Jin

Mr Yu Jin aka Nicknamer
A helpful and friendly lecturer and knows when to be serious. Always makes us laugh with his renowned sarcasm.

Aliff Aizat Ahmad

Aliff aka Chicky Boy
An avid MU fan.

Clement Chok Chun Ynh aka The Banker aka Chokky/Chalky
A newcomer in Section 2. The person with most diverse educational background in our class ( had been studying A Levels in Singapore and Intec before coming to UNITEN) However, he is adapting to Section's culture fast.

SXXXXAT

After the 2-hour intensive SAT test, under "Sleepy" condition, we interviewed some candidates of the test.

Candidate 4

XX:

CH:

but at least i know where i weak in, and where i should improve myself
n i keep comfort myself that actually i can do better if i have enough slp last nite

Candidate 5

SJ:
I FELT SLEEPY
SAD
TIRED
COLD
GAY
FRUSTRATED
N SLEEPY

In Conclusion, TIREDNESS is the main problem!!! (YJ's fault again)

However, both of us think that the hardest part are the sentence completion and the critical reading.
Problem:
1. Lots of "unknown" vocabulary
2. Why there is only 60 seconds in one minute. Can't it be 100 seconds???
3. Distraction during the test

Solution:
1. Learn the damn new vocabularies. Just make friends with them.
2. Practice more and admit that there is only 60 seconds in 1 minute.
3. Beg Mr.YJ to let us have enough sleep

[S]o what!!! you
[A]re just a
[T]EST!!!
Coming to conquer you!!!
